Candlewood Suites opening soon in Flowood
The Candlewood Suites brand was recently named in the top 4 fastest growing brands across all segments in lodging hospitality.
The new Candlewood Suites Hotel, strategically located adjacent to our Holiday Inn Express, Chimneyville Cafe and River Room Conference Center in Lakeland Commons, will be Flowood’s first extended stay hotel. This four story, 113 suites hotel has been designed by PFVS Architects out of Atlanta, Georgia and is currently under construction by Panola Construction, Inc. out of Batesville, MS.
The InterContinental Hotels Group extended stay concept design has the long term guest in mine. From the complimentary laundry facilities to the Candlewood Cupboard, where guests can buy supplies or late night snacks 24 hrs. a day, Candlewood creates the residential feel that extended stay guests desire. Each suite is equipped with a full kitchen, large workstation area, VCR and or DVD/CD player, complimentary high speed internet access and telephone with voicemail and free local calls.
The project is scheduled to be open in the Fall of 2009.
